¶ Get Started with Instrument X
¶ Installation and Setup
- In the Installation and Initial Setup section of this manual, you will be guided through everything from user registration for product activation to the installation of the editor and instrument expansions, as well as audio system setup.
- Instrument X comes with both a standalone version and a plugin version.
For instructions on using it as a plugin in your DAW software, please refer to "Plugins and DAW Integration". - If you encounter any problems such as failure to start, inability to log in, or no sound output, please refer to "Troubleshooting".
¶ Generate Dynamic Performances Just by Entering Notes
In Instrument X, you can enter melodies in a variety of ways, including importing MIDI or MusicXML files, inputting them in real time using a MIDI device, or using the Edit and Pencil Tools.
¶ Easily Apply a Wide Range of Playing Techniques and Articulations with One Click
The playing techniques and articulations available for each instrument can be easily configured using the Articulation Bar on the piano roll or the Notes Panel, one of the side panels.
Simply select a button to create a wide variety of performances without the need for complex keyswitch operations.
